
CEO and Ex-Officio Member, Board of KGMAMF
Mr. Abul Kalam is the CEO of Kosovo Grameen Mission Arcobaleno Microcredit Fund (KGMAMF) since October 2015. He joined KGMAMF in December 2007 as the CFO. Before joining KGMAMF, he worked Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus in various Managerial positions since 1986.
He also worked for five years as a consultant to implement Micro Credit Project in Myanmar (Burma). The project was directly implemented by Grameen Trust and funded by UNDP/UNOPS. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Masters of Social Science from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. With 35 years working experience in home and abroad as a practitioner of Microfinance as well social business, he has a good understanding of poverty alleviation, livelihood issues and new entrepreneur development program.
